There seems to be a general misconception that entry fees made by anglers entering TEFF events is being channelled to Angling Trust. TEFF can assure entrants that ALL monies raised through entry fees or fundraising events, be that Loch-style, Bank or Rivers, is ring-fenced for the use of TEFF and its teams.
TEFF’s only source of income is from entry fees and/or fundraising events. It is imperative for the continuing support of our teams that we attract as many entries as possible to our events. Please give them your full support.
Without the input from Angling Trust, it is unlikely that TEFF could function fully. They provide, free of charge, administrative support to us through their own staff.
It is imperative that this year’s fundraisers are fully supported, otherwise there will be very limited grants made available to any of our team members in future.
Comment has been received that anglers who usually fish the Loch-style Qualifiers are reluctant to enter the fundraisers because of the catch rules. The rules have been imposed because of the current Covid-19 restrictions on social gatherings. They ensure that contact between anglers is reduced to an absolute minimum.
Please bear with us whilst this pandemic is ongoing. Support the events, back TEFF, and help fund your teams going forward.
